So far ive been doing good. I was prescribed 5gm of glipizide once a day and two 500gm metformin once a day. My doctor then cut in half my glipizide then told me to stop taking it. My question is, is it ok to take 1/3 of my 5gm glipizide when i know i will eat a very large carb meal? Ive done it twice with great blood sugar results.
