She was born on January 20, 1935, in Deadwood, South Dakota. She grow up in Washington state, where she liked performing arts. Dorothy started her career with small roles in theater and TV. Her big break come with film “The Bonnie Parker Story” in 1958 where she played Bonnie Parker.
