Look and Read was an educational schools series from the BBC that debuted in 1967. The purpose of each serialised story (usually ten parts long) was to spin an exciting yarn around which various reading lessons could be based. The actual drama segments only amounted to about six minutes of each episode’s 18-minute or so run-time.
