While in the Kansas City market, I prefer Dillard’s, in NYC or somewhere else Macy’s has better stores, my preference might be different. The differences that I can see, at least in the Kansas City market, are that Dillard’s is more classic, preppy, traditional and dressy, whereas Macy’s is a bit younger, trendier, and even hip-hop.
